    Dopey, then I wonder what the markets reaction will be to most US banks posting huge falls in profits and some loses in next month"s Q1 reporting season.

    It's all about banks anyway so this coming event (the warnings are posted everywhere) just might be the push the financial system needs.

    I understand that European banks are much the same boat....sinking.

    You say that crisis beholds strength, well that's about to be tested. Another point is the shock that such an event can cause, could it have adverse effects on the US economy?

    I believe that the global financial system is still ever so brittle and when you include China and it's banking problems anything can happen.

    There's every chance in the aftermath of this looming financial shake up 'shock' that the global banking system become far less fragile and capable of dealing with
    huge stress.

    However that means there's a chance that banks become unstuck playing roulette with derivatives and shammy investment vehicles dreamt up during the last five years financial festivities.
