Agree, but with a few different shades of grays in the arguments:
The US main power is financial and military. The global economy is not highly dependent on the US industrial might.
Which leaves me with always asking these questions:
1) How long before the completely corrupted and compromised SWIFT is sidelined?
2) How long before the US military might and its sphere of influence is balanced by opposing forces?
Russia may provide some answers. Military intervention? Nah. Sanctions? Yeah.
Yet, in a climate of complacency, corruption and decadence, vigilance lapses.
Is there public support for 'war' with Russia? Is there public support for demonizing Putin?
Overwhelmingly not in EU & US.
And where we don't agree: 'I don't agree that economic and other key national systems are inherently self-righting.'
As day follows night, financial and economic boom follows ...you know how to end the sentence. The system self-corrects.
Sorry for being short with answers...more may come later.
