The fact is; Governor Andrew Cuomo has actually stated that drilling would only be permitted in towns or other municipalities that haven’t banned the practice.
Chautauqua County has not banned the practice and is pro drilling for gas. The lifting of the moratorium in New York state is only another piece of EEG's continual profit making business.
