L8TR "There's now way our CEO would walk if it wasn't good for the company" ???

There is no way any CEO walks straight out. They are either told to get out or realise they had better get out while they can!!

Tell me, as A CEO, if you were successful [therefore earning top dollars], receiving the plaudits of your management, respected by the shareholders and seen as very successful by your peers would you walk away??

It doesn't happen and IT DIDN'T THIS TIME EITHER.

Everybody who starts up something likes to see it through. It is the egotist coming out in all of us. Also, to be able to see the end of the tunnel makes you even more determined to stay if for nothing more than the very high financial rewards for having pulled it off. You could rightly expect your salary and benefits package to reach dizzy heights.

Hard to justify on your CV why you walked on a Company mid project when SP at record lows under your watch.

Therefore for all the above reasons he either jumped or got pushed. HE DID NOT WALK AWAY OR THROW HIMSELF OFF ANY BRIDGE AS A SACRIFICIAL LAMB.If he got pushed then people have woken up to him and said enough is enough.

If he jumped he can,by being so close to the machinations of the Company, see what we can't yet and that is the most frightening scenario. If he can see the looming iceberg and we can't yet because it is still shrouded in the fog of guesswork, lack of announcement, etc. then we are in for big problems.

What is our current liquidity? How long can the ship stay afloat?

Perhaps the presentation hit a real brick wall and the harsh reality is that they can't get any interest JV or otherwise.

I feel that there is something deeper here. We can only hang on and wait.

We are now almost rudderless and wait for a new captain.

    Good luck to all.
