He and the rest of the Dream Team that are busy giving away our Super Dollars are sitting round an oval with their shoes and socks off so they can count up to a billion reasons why they are clueless but.........every crisis has a silver ling, although in this case its pure gold
When this plague has run its course and the dead have been buried and cremated, we will witness the greatest inter-generational transfer of wealth in our history as the elderly boomers and other fossils kick start a huge inheritance bun fight and spending spree, for what better way to honor your ancestors than by spending their life time hoardings on all things crap and self indulgent!
Think the end of WW2 and the boom that followed, which will not only kick start a property and bling spending spree but also bring back inflation; thats how any economist worth his or her salt will manage all this debt; inflate their way out of it
So....spending plus debt plus inflation equals a lower AUD (probably sub USD 50 cents maybe sub 40) which in turn equates to high AUD commodity prices particularly Gold in AUD.
So girls; Aust based mineral resource producers are going to go boom! with Gold, Copper and Fe leading the charge
The time to position yourselves is over the next 3 mths with the market bottoming when the death toll trends in the right direction.
My thoughts about Barkly remain unchanged; could be a real project so unless there is something exceptional on offer, full focus should be Barkly as its in the right place and an be ramped up at the right time
