Would not be surprised either Frank, Syria ia Russias only real ally these days and they would not like the regime to loose power in the country. It seems cracy that the Syrians would dare the yanks to launch an attack but for the fact that they have every intention to launch an all out assult on Israel where the rest of the functioning arab states (Iran) would probably join in, As for the gold price if that happens, is anyones guess. I would rather GRY went up on its fundamentals rather than the consequences of a war where lots of people are killed.
