My guess... and its just a guess
An insto's bought a parcel of FQ's shares at this level then watched it go South. Has been waiting for it to return to this level and is getting out. A dumb move but not as dumb as CBA's sell off. Meanwhile there is enough insto confidence that they are taking the shares off them. Hence the cross trades.
Lets see if there's a 'substantial ownership' notice.
I'm certainly a lot more relaxed about AVM than I've been in a while - lets see what the new year brings...
