I understand how it may look that way Kiwi. I started buying last year so I have been holding for a while (but have been picking more up on the way up and the way down). There are some hear who have held for longer I think.

But the market is really not a happy place at the moment for a lot of people. Mortgages up, margin calls, shares falling on good announcements just to name a few. Did I mention lemmings, well they are all hiding in the stock market as well (definitively not an endangered group), So I do understand people feeling nervous.

You should never make a decision based on other posters, as everyones risk tolerance and financial situation is difference.
