I think the obvious answer is to fund production of new OHM devices once sales begin generating.
Ingram may have needed/wanted proof BUD had the financial capacity to meet the production costs/demand such a large distribution deal would generate.
Seems reasonable to me. Though we aren't getting details on ongoing orders for OHM units, I suspect some larger orders are on the way.
