Its all mere speculation on my part - can we produce copper at $2/lb, was there anything behind the $1.70 offer?
I honestly don't know.
What I do know is that China needs a S**tload of copper over the next 20 years & beyond.
Somehow they manage to manufacture an angle grinder, package it, ship it Australia and sell it at Bunnings for $19 AND Bunnings makes a profit - surely they could mine 5kg of copper for the same effort?
