That's for sure.
Possibly the only major religion that until recently allowed for different people and Nature to live together more or less harmoniously yet still retained an authentic core for those who wished to explore beyond the general indications of the Buddha.
In my case, at the time, it was probably only the limitations of unavoidable cultural requirements that made it impracticable.
Since then, lot's of "semi-adapted" versions have become popular .. in my view a bit like McDonalds' version of Buddhism.
