I don't think Lanza pretends to know what QM is, in fact if anything he would rather simply promote and pit Biology vs Physics. Ive seen clips of him before, id almost say he holds a tiny grudge against physics.
The ball is in physics court to prove why experiments like the double slit are so. I thought I had seen the odd article proving other results including particle like patterns while viewing at the slit. I have no idea where this experiment still stands in the world of physics at the moment?
