just a small query, you also posted this "doom of financial markets" essay (the content of which i don't disagree with, may well be an implosion soon) on an SBM St Barbara thread. but MQG, much as they didn't want to, are stuck with bucketloads of SBM shares after underwriting SBM's last (not so successful) capital raising. do you think this might counterbalance? if you are long gold and short investment banks, what to do with an investment bank with a chunk of gold?
