Thanks Goldie, however as I read it the only bit of non public information in zoom_bee's post is the specific technical snippet about Samson using a Schlumberger multi array transceiver, which is the kind of non market sensitive informative that TB is probably prepared to provide if you write to him. Even how such a transceiver works can be found by searching on the internet.
The comment about the 37 ft interval comes from the reference in Samson's May 27th announcement to a significant oil show over the interval from 9,390 to 9,430 ft.
The rest of the information provided by zoom_bee in his post (thx zoom_bee) is publicly available information obtained from a combination of interpreting Samson's May 31st announcement and probably personal knowledge/experience (or quick research on the internet) of how oilers exploit/produce sequentially from the different oil bearing layers in a conventional vertical well with multiple stacked pays.
Goldie, are you saying that if indeed there does turn out to be multiple stacked pays that each have sufficient oil to be commercial producers from the same well, then the sequence of production (i.e. sequentially from bottom to top over a period of time as each layer is successively depleted) is not how oilers produce from such a well? Perhaps you could provide the correct description if zoom_bee's description is wrong.
Otherwise, zoom_bee's post is all entirely correct and based on the single and yet to be proven assumption (which zoom_bee does not state as fact) that the final result will be that SOA2 contains multiple commercially producing pays.
Perhaps you might care to explain more clearly what you mean by your comment otherwise, because without further explanation all I can take from your post is that you have tried to dis-credit zoom_bee without any substantiation. Who should I believe - zoom_bee or you? I know who I'd pick given your respective posting histories.
Cheers, Sharks.
Thanks Goldie, however as I read it the only bit of non public...
