Shares in Alumina have gained 58 per cent since August 2010, amid a 35 per centincrease in the aluminium price. The group's stock has benefited from boththe rising price of aluminium and plans to delink the price of alumina from thatof aluminium. Meanwhile, Credit Suisse expects the aluminium division of RioTinto to post earnings of $US1.4bn in fiscal 2011
