AVZs preferred modus operandi would have been and I’d suggest still is for all parties to follow all laws and codes for the fair and equitable benefit of all parties legally involved.
The legal team AVZ has engaged are yet to lose a single case.
I believe the decision to be sound supported by this.
You believe there are/was other options available, we won’t know what is/was best for shareholders until the conclusion of these current matters.
I believe the current course of action is the best way forward and my reasoning is that if AVZ were to veer from the steadfast route of only ever acting within laws and codes it would provide ample ammunition for a stripping of the asset. It’s by no means the ideal way as I stated above but what other option(s) are available to AVZ that both retain shareholder value and stay within laws and codes?
Most people can find a fault or problem only clever and intelligent ones provide solutions
