as for rule changes, the thing i love about soccer is that it is easy to watch and uncomplicated, someone who has watched it all their life and is aged 85 would have barely seen a rule change and would still totally understand hat us going on
the same cannot be said for AFL, the rules change every year and even current players have trouble working out interpretation, an older fan would have no chance of keeping up with rules
now the AFL are in trouble as we made the world cup and they know it
Richard Colless chairman of the Swans, Midway through the first half, confided: "This puts us into perspective. We have a wonderful game, the best game, but it's played by half of a small country."
As Demetriou says: "We have a national competition, but we don't believe we have a completely national code."
come June next year world cup will be front page news
socceroos also have about 8 other games
4.5m people watched the game at home
i love afl i just wish they woudl stop f!cking it up
