Yes, I remember that. I was really preoccupied as a youngster that some could've jumped the fence. Being a goalkeeper my eyes were constantly up the hill. Sad part of humanity though. Those people must've suffered very much.
Lambert park. You must've enjoyed all of that vibe. Some really good games were played in lambert park. Apia had some very good imports from Scotland and England. They produced really good crowds back then. As a kid my first experience in trying to make money was collecting the bottles which had refunds back then.
