the level of stupidity and cluelessness is shown in WHY they require to have what are now kneejerk reactions in an impossible situation which governments have created over decades ----------- AND THE SITUATION HAS BEEN TOTALLY FORESEEABLE

that stupidity has created many factors which contribute to the current mess and catastrophe --------- one of which has been governments at ALL levels walking away from social housing

the current stupidity is on clear display by the way in which they are going about trying to fix the mess

the sum total of the solution recipe is - money for more housing

1. there is no point if there are no builders to throw the money at

2. there is NOT a sign of other thinking - nothing at all other than - the 'promise' of more houses and, here's some money

there are a couple of sitting duck areas which would help - and I've mentioned them several times in the past ------------- but, all we get is ------------- 'more money' - to build houses which we can't build because there's no one to build them

the idea is great ----------- but, how is a question and too late is a comment and 'what else can we do' is just not to be seen

what governments are trying to do is exactly what the Oakland Athletics team executives wanted to do --------- somehow get back to where we were before - which was pretty crap anyway

it's impossible and it's impossible to move to a better place - what Australia needs - just like Oakland Athletics needed is THINKING
