I'm putting this out here as a point of constructive discussion because I honestly believe that piece "Social Thred" functionality would significantly add to the appeal of the Thred appeal to a wider audience and encourage communication between non familiar users...

If you imagine the existing "Thred" page be converted to a "Private Threds" and a new tab added where people could post new "Social Threds'' publicly under categories such as news and current affairs, celebrities, romance, classifieds, sports, Gen Y etc etc...

Imagine the amount of people that would be posting right now as the state of original is on under a NRL themed public thred?


Now before you shoot this idea down I would like to to step away from the keyboard and consider that you are reading this message on what is essentially a public Thred...
