From Helmsec Global Capital Review of SIH in Nov 2010 on aspects of SIH Permitting.
Hopefully an update by end of March 2011 (or before)will be forthcoming as these permits would no doubt be required as SIH expand their exploration activities into wider new areas.
This is gaining more importance as there has recently been a growing spate of "social unreast" issues in Indonesian mining camps..ie: ARX

Helmsec Report on Permitting:
1. AMDAL, the equivalent of the Australian
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). This started
in February 2010 and is expected to be finalised by
1Q 2011
2. Government of Indonesia Feasibility Study, this
document goes beyond the more technically
focused DFS and include all potential impacts of
the mining project at regional and local community
levels, legal and social aspects, environmental and
sustainability issues. This started in April 2010, with
a number of specialised teams working in parallel
with the relevant government departments to
secure a positive outcome in a timely manner.
Completion date is scheduled for 1Q2011.
3. Once the AMDAL process is complete, a ?borrow
and use? permit is needed from the forestry
ministry. The permit is known as a ?Pinjam Pakai
Exploitasi? and final approval is expected within 3
months of the AMDAL approval.
These issues important for any LT holders of SIH.
