The Paris Commune proved the Darwinianism of capitalism. Capitalism cannot tolerate competition, and the capitalist states of France and Germany after sorting out their own differences, in 1870-71, made an example out of the Paris Commune. Capitalists have consistently demonstrated that they cannot be dealt with peaceably and have repeatedly shown that they can only be disposed of through violent revolution.
