If you always measure wealth and poverty with money then you will always get this type of statistic. The top 20% will be smart and successful people, but not without financial leverage in their favour. When a working mans time is compensated in money only fit to pay for his immediate needs, then his leverage is zero.
If you measured a person contributions based on their contribution in their time then the results change.
More often than not the 80% work harder and longer than the 20%.
