    China is probably 'more' authoritarian then Australia in the sense they still have the common sense to kill criminals commiting terrible crimes via the death Penality.

    Im not 'anti' China the system there works do i think it is 'better' then a capitalist/democratic system no the main reason is you 'dont know' what leader you will get Xi (full credit to him) is doing an alright but when Xi dies or is removed the next bloke might be a lunatic

    We have seen what closed leadership can do in nations like Iran, Russia/USSR etc

    But i preference this by saying it 'only' is working in China because they have almost no migration it is similar to Japan they are successful because there is nationalism and a inherit need to preserve ones culture and way of life.

    The West could learn from China you will never hear me say we cant but China has also learnt ALOT from the west and is still learning.
