the figure of 10 cents comes from the most basic chip for an edge device say a doorbell that only needs 2 nodes to operate. One of those chips would cost around $10 at scale and 1% of that is 10 cents.

the neural nodes licensed will vary drastically depending on who licenses and their chip purpose. But 10 cents at a minimum per chip is the lowest ARM makes. The specifics will vary and you will get more of an idea when renesas release their chip. But at this stage if they sell around 100 million chips I would expect BRN to make $1 million
