    I agree, I'm just not ruling out sodium-ion completely. China will always produce some cheap shit, as they always have. Hell, there's a few blokes who have done DIY EV's with lead-acid batteries; just because you can, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

    I actually believe that sodium-ion technology is just a smoke and mirrors manoeuvre by Chinese companies (like BYD) to keep lithium prices under control. It seems like a lingering technology threat to suggest they'll go that way if lithium prices surge again. I think it's a bit of a bluff, and I actually don't even think sodium-ion would reach 10% of the market. It might get used on a few low range Tuk-Tuks, but not much else.

    Range is king, and lithium wins every time.
