Again, my question is, how is your question relevant to the issue I raised? Namely, the morality of torturing and killing people over a friendly wager.

I wasn't addressing your issue specifically. You altered the direction of the conversation that was about resurrection and something else. with MrGordon.

    Quote:
Job expressed confidence that he would be resurrected. It was this hope that enabled to maintain integrity through his trials.

(Job 14:14, 15) If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. 15 You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.

We can have confidence in that same hope. The sacrificial death of Jesus neutralizes one of Satan's most effective weapons.

(Hebrews 2:14, 15) Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly shared in the same things, so that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil, 15 and that he might set free all those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death. Unquote.

That is your MO to turn the conversation to where you are confident in your abilities from your lack of ability on knowledge of the actual conversation which was on resurrection and something else.

So as the question of where Job and his family and workers are 'as depicted in the bible' apparently has sweet FA to do with the morality of torturing and killing people over a wager,

Oh, you have finally caught on?
It has to do with what you actually know on where they are now in regards to the actual conversation you diverted away from because of your lack of knowledge on what the conversation was about.

You apparent logical answer is God is justified for torture and killing because he plucked them into heaven.
If that's the best we can get out of your biblical knowledge then we'll just stop with that.
