I first bought into BOT mid last year...it's been a great ride so far, but a lot more to come.

TBH I have only been following BOT more closely since the end of last year as I wait for another play to work out.

I wanted to add to a few poster's comments like @dachopper and @BuffetsCleaner and no doubt a few others on one specific BOT point that I picked up while reading some literature while discovering more on what Botanix was all about.

Ok let's get to my point:

    First a quick story.

I used to distribute Entertainment Books for a charity. (This isn't a plug, I have nothing to do with them now, it was a good product back then, it probably still is). I had been doing it for a few years, my usual method was to simply send out an email with the features and benefits and then people would contact me if they wanted to know more or in fact, buy the book full of coupons.

However, I later on learnt a trick from one of the launches they had one year. To increase sales massively....instead of sending out emails, simply place a book on everyone's desk and if they weren't interested they could just return to book to you. This drove up sales enormously. Most people would flick through it and realise that there was always some benefit, some nearby places they could utilise a discount and it would save them the cost of the entire book in just a few uses while being also able to try completely new places!

Great story Mozz, what has this to do with my investment in Bot?

Bot is doing a similar thing, well, they are proposing to do such a thing. It's a stark contrast to Japan as these posters mentioned above have also alluded to.

BOT has already got this idea in mind and have even lined it up in preparation. Let's take a closer look for the uninitiated:

A bit like how I used to sell the Entertainment Books, the typical way BOT would traditionally sell Sofdra would be via a Doc consultation and then the Doc would write up a prescription and then the patient (may or may not) then proceed to a pharmacy, get it filled and that was the end of it.

If the customer liked it and derived benefit from it then they MAY go back for a repeat.

But this additive new model is so much better.

Let's have a look at this diagrammatically first1:

So the above means that firstly it's patient convenient as they don't have to waste time going to a Doc's clinic, queue up, have the consult and then go to the pharmacy...Everything is not only done electronically but the delivery happens automatically too!

But best of all, it's like the Entertainment Book, the default is that you buy it as there it is right in front of you on your desk...so here also in this case, the default could be AUTOMATIC Prescription refills. The patient has to make a conscientious decision to stop them. Why would they do that if the product works, it's safe, its efficacious and it's better than the competition?

    Here is another slide 2:

The below announcement 3 triggered my interest but I forgot about it till recently when some of you guys started chatting about it:

Botanix has certainly been proactive in this area in preparation for the future:

"Botanix has already engaged in discussions with payers to provide patients with frictionless access to Sofdra". 4

This is a great 'frictionless' model which could also materially be accretive to base sales.

I think the future is bright with this one!

    - Mozz

ps: Love that your threads don't have the mud slinging that so many others do!
Great discussions with positive vibes, keep it up!

pps: Not wanting to cross promote but if you are interested in another Aussie bio play that's at an earlier point than Bot that I think has also some great future potential, look up my profile.
