    SB2000,

    If your are not familiar with powergrids then it may be better not to comment. All powerstations have a usable life, due to the very long time spans involved in commissioning new plants we need to make a descion to built a plant around ten years before you will see power from it (i.e right about now). Not only our power requirments are increasing but our existing powerstations are starting to get old.

    40MW are you JOKING?

    A single turbine system (many turbines of varying sizes)from bayswater power station produces 660 MW oh yeah and it has 4 of them for a total of 2400MW. 40MW to solve our energy problems???. Barely worth turning it on.

    Get a clue mate.
