purchased a controlling share in the French robotics firm Aldebaran in 2015, which produces the Pepper robot that was originally designed for SoftBank to use as a greeter in its retail stores.

What vision software is used in Softbanks Pepper Robot? Is this Spikenet?
High Definition vision: Pepper is equipped with two high-resolution cameras as well as a 3D camera enabling him to effectively understand his environment.
The images are processed by shape recognition software capable of identifying faces and objects.
