    Swala plans to drill Kito in Tanzania next month.

    Swala also operates Burundi Block D in Lake Tanganyika. This block was purchased from Surestream. In June 2017, the Burundi President Nkurunziza said that "oil exploration to begin soon in Lake Tanganyika" but he didn't say which Block out of Blocks A, B, C and D would be drilled or maybe it's just more seismic surveys. Success in any one block will improve the chance of success in the other blocks.
