BKW created an unexpected conundrum for us today. We thought thst in our calculations the brickyard division was over its investment cycle. That seems to not be true. It was easy to ignore that division as when we invested in BKW we got that division for free. Now its eating up cash when we had hoped that process had ended.
This event means no real increased dividends until thst cycle ends. I do hope they curb the USA spend at some point. However my suspicion is that we are going to see expansion of USA investment when the cycle hits its weakest point. It may be a great investment but it shifts the risk. May need to relook balance between SOL and BKW and shift more resources into SOL.
