Sol's remark that Myer inventory better befits the Salvation Army was particularly brutal. But if he's trying to talk down the share price so he can acquire a controlling stake for the smallest-possible outlay, which he denies, it doesn't seem to be working - there's been no material change at the open this morning. It further affirms my view that a very substantial degree of negativity and disappointment is priced in.
