GISS actual coverage which uses selected land stations and extends that out to 1200 kilometers into the ocean??? If no ocean data is available. Figure out that one. The logic is absolutely stupid.

So here is the 250 klm grid section that 1 station can cover. As you can see only about 80% of the world is covered. Infilling does a great job of getting you over the new records threshold BS we continually here..

And yet GISS seem to think when they do the 1200 Klm grid section which is nothing but massive infilling that there records are a true representation of the world climate. Surely you can see a minor problem here Red.
