The good thing to come out of these blackouts is that it's getting talked about finally . Yes , politics is getting in the way both state and federal but at least it's now on the agenda . Talking about the future of the national grid is much more important than some of the minor issues that have been dominating politics lately .
I'm sure the government will still probably stuff it up but at least we are making progress rather than waiting until it turns to custard .
This could be a defining moment for the federal government . Turnbull appears to be growing a pair .
