Actually Elle I am beginning to think that the Renew Economy data is perhaps disingenuous or outright “misinformation.”

I note that in thier headline generation/demand bar graphs that they include all hydro as “renewables.”

However a substantial portion of Australia’s hydro is pumped. So unless renewables have achieved 100% of demand that means that the pumping for pumped hydro has been achieved by burning carbon. Therefore the hydro that are claiming is renewable is anything but.

If I am correct I am sure it is just an oversight on this unbiased purveyor of information??
