I recently fell a** backwards into about 30 acres of RU1 zoned land. The land is close to (about 5km) from a town and spitting distance to the hume highway. Have no immediate need for the land beyond generating some form of passive income from it. Obviously the capital costs of a 8 gigawatt solar farm are beyond my means so was thinking about leasing it or JV with a solar company to build a solar farm (assume all council stuff is fine).
Anyone got any experience with this? bare in mind this is not the same as solar panels on your roof, this would be a commercial scale power plant.
