The system is a rheem gas boosted solar system, have had the people around to check it out and they did a couple of adjustments but it still heats the water when it shouldn't, so we just turn the gas off to it and that saves us a lot of money. As for warranty with these things and others it's a joke, they just ignore you, hoping that you will go away.
