    watso cannot complain about the solar hws. as far as boosting the temperature (eg winter), watso manually puts the booster on at the end of the day - thus on most days, the panels have had all day to at least warm the water a little bit.

    think about getting a solar system which does not use a sacrificial anode

    why not check out the following system

    it works a bit like a reverse cycle airconditioner. watso would presume that in summer, it would be very economical to heat the water, as the ambient air temperature would already be hot. another advantage, is that the water is heated from the top down, which means that there is hot water, sooner (good for winter)
