@pintohoo - Ah, European bread! I have just munched my way through the last Coles white, supposedly sourdough, bun - pretty awful - but am on a diet atm, so no good having quality bread around, but will bake this week, seeing it's Christmas!! Have you ever tried German or Swiss bread of the farm variety? absolutely wonderful with good cheese or finely cut smoked meats (ham-derived) - a meal in itself. I remember going to a Food market in France, which was just across the border from Switzerland (near Geneva) never forget the varieties of cheeses offered in the cave-like structures of an old building in the center of town. It had many supporting, solid stone arches - it was wonderful - too many cheeses, not enough appetite! Daughter's new boyfriend was married to a French woman and he lived in France for a while, so last night I was able to exchange a few sentences in French!! Felt good - I am going to a French Club in Perth on Friday for Christmas Dinner! Thanks for the Christmas Wishes - same to you Joyeux Noël Tau
