There are numerous positions people adopt based on ideology, knowledge, or lack thereof and simply led by ignorance or, "herd appeal". There are others like those consumed with the pressures of financial survival that it is not a priority. The list is long. However deliberate behaviour simply from spite displays an immaturity which is not a cause for celebration.
