Thanks for this post. This is a typical press release with little of substance to assess whether there has been any great advancement. Electrolysis is a process that has been understood for a long time. What is claimed here is new type of electrode that will operate in more easily reproduceable conditions. It does not present any indication on energy conversion efficiency of the process.
A further difficulty not mentioned is safe storage of the H2. Maybe a solution from Hydrexia might be realised sometime. Still, a very interesting read. Would you be able to share the source please?
