solar on steroids

    Futher interesting info:

In the May 2011 Investor presentation, Stone Wang mentions that "Government policy now appears to be shifting to increase support for commercial solar PV projects. This is in line with our strengths in engineering design, technical expertise and familiarity in integrated solar PV solutions in complex projects."

This policy shift and potential market growth was confirmed when the $23/tonne carbon tax was announced,
John Grimes, Chief Executive of the Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES)said "Big Solar is a big winner in today's Clean Energy Future announcement"

"We will see solar on steroids...the $10 billion Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) - half of which is quarantined for renewable energy - will provide the financial settings that Big Solar projects need to get off the ground."

Based on company performance (and turnaround)to date and the prospective growth in an industry that AFT has a strong footing in, I see potential here at the very least for significant upside on current prices. Finding a stock with this sort of market cap that is actually making money is rare and current earnings combined with near term potential has got my attention.

Looking forward to having a conversation with any other AFT holders who might share my enthusiam :)
