What bothers me is that government assistance to instal solar systems will dissapear. I was reading today that the rebate in place before Peter Garret axed it last year was costing $300 ton carbon. Juia Gillard says the key to a cap on carbon emmisions is a tax on carbon. If it is unviable to give rebates in the form of credits, then the whole solar panel industry might die. Meantime I am having difficulty finding the daily price of RECs
