With no disrespect to MG who clearly is Nobel Prize material as a physicist, he is IMHO a boffin not a businessman. We would have been well served by a CEO, and a BoD who could have controlled expenditure on what seemed to me to be obscure projects and kept the focus on our technology which just might have then been years ahead of where we are. Over the years the BoD has been more focused on gender neutral titles than progress. It is probably too late now of course. I have no respect for someone called a "chair" (something that is sat upon). Janet Holmes a Court was, last time I checked, still Chairman of the Holland Group of companies. Honestly, who could have named anyone on the BoD and their experience before I raised the matter? And I don't like the CEO being on the Board either. I prefer a clear cut separation.
