gday dyehards. just pointing out that dye gets a nice plug in the latest issue of 'contact' magazine.

the editor went to the dsto exhibition in brisbane recently showing all new military kit and gadgets and published his fav ones. eg: a korean self propelled gun and comms equipment. all v good stuff. included were the dye solar panels. 'while its not as eficient as silicon panels, its flexibility, durability and low weight make it ideal for a million and one applications in the field'...'a cam blanket to cover a whole vehicle-keeping the sun off the bodyworkwhile using that very same sun to recharge the vehicles batteries.'

i can foresee the army, esp artillery, using heaps of these. stationary for days on end, hiding. and special forces. soon we will be exporting to every friendly armed force on the planet.
thats a lot of dye.
