With the price of V2O5 around us$5.50 per lb there should be opportunities to build large storage batteries.
However there are plans to build a 600MW Lithium battery near Geelong.The Tesla battery in SA is 100MW.The Northern Territory is going to tender for a $30m battery which apparently will also be Lithium.
Is the problem price or are the vanadium battery suppliers poor salesmen, perhaps an Elon Musk is needed.
