Pixby, don't hold your breath!! The mob that were behind the recent JV with SER/EBR on the Uley prospect were involved with the use of graphite for solar energy storage and I believe Cloncurry was one of their projects. It looks like that angle has not really progressed in recent years with solar power plants focussing on other technologies. It is a shame, as it would be great local demand if it took off. The world graphite market is looking pretty rosy without solar eneregy uses though, especially if SER start to look down the benefaction route rather than simply exporting a partially refined bulk commodity. To me, the biggest SP mover could well be an indication that this angle is being explored and developed, as it will add very significantly to the overall value of the exported product.
