i dont think they went ahead.. but surely if they did, they would be able to sell it to coolgardie kalgoorlie when the mining ceased
the problem with these renewables is they are not renewable materials the IPCC / UN is full of absolutely baloney statistics to justify their political positioning and ESG extortion rackets.
You can argue there is financial incentive to secure fixed energy costs with solar for the life of the panels. +-20years, the environmental argument is utter rubbish though.. just like the windfarm propellers its all going to end up in land fill.and more mining needed to continue to produce more.
I think the entire problem reaction solution of energy supply is to position nuclear as the only solution which will be run by a handful of giants in a cartel manner
