A new patent was granted for the rare earths on 1/1/09.
This would tend to confirm that SLX are still waiting for mmore patents to be granted. I would presume that the person in the company that you contacted would have know that this one had been granted and his/her reply would suggest that there are more to come. So the last 3 patents have all been granted in the past 6 weeks. Lets hope that other are just around the courner.
